Dear patient,
In many cases, a hospital stay can be planned in advance.
We have compiled some information that may be useful to you and make your stay in our hospital easier.
What do you need?
Please only bring the most essential items with you. Your room only has a small cupboard.
Please leave large amounts of cash, valuables and jewellery at home!
We accept no liability for lost items.
Important documents
- Referral from the referring doctor
- Chip card or health insurance card
- Identity card
- Proof of any supplementary hospital insurance
- Existing medical records such as X-rays, magnetic resonance and computer tomograms, doctor's reports or records of laboratory values
- Vaccination card, X-ray card, allergy card
- List of medications you are currently taking or take on a regular basis
- Living will (if available)
Clothing
- Pyjamas
- Dressing gown/bathrobe
- Comfortable outer clothing
- Comfortable undergarments
- Underwear
- Non-slip socks
- Sturdy shoes
Toiletries
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Comb/brush
- Deodorant
- Hair shampoo, shower gel
- Razor
- Towels
- Dentures – in a storage box
Miscellaneous
- Glasses
- Hearing aids – in a storage box
- Small amount of change
Please leave items of greater value or large amounts of cash at home. If this is not possible, please hand them in to Patient Management on arrival, where they will be stored in a safe.
